Norwegian Fjords for Sale

I usually have a few of our own Fjords and a several consignment Fjords for sale at any given time.

I like to spend a lot of time with the Fjords, so I get to know them well. I want to find the right match for the horses and the people who are looking.

We train Fjords slow and easy. I want to put a great foundation on them and expose them to many things so their minds stay fresh and they enjoy what they are learning.

They are handled daily and are taught manners and patience at an early age. Most of the Fjords we train are started under saddle at age 3, with some started under harness at age 2.

Most consignment horses are put in training with us here at FCF, so that we can get to know them well.

If you have a nice Fjord that you must sell, I accept horses (Fjords only, please) to train and sell on consignment. Contact me to see if I can help you sell your horse.

I have taken Fjords in on consignment from coast to coast and have also sold Fjords across the US-sold to the following states: WI,IL, MN,IA,KY,IN,CA,WA,NJ,NH,SC,NC,TX,OR, ME,CO,AZ,MI,NC,NY,WV, OH,ND. Can recommend several reliable shipping companies to get your horse home safely.

SHIPPING- We have used several wonderful shipping companies, you may call or email them for a quote if you would like to know how much it would cost to get your Fjord home. We suggest: All State Horse Express, NationWide, Equine Express, Pat Downing. Look them up on the web, or email me, I'll get you their email address and/or phone number.

FCF is more interested then just a sale, we want a friend for life, and we want YOU to have a friend for life with your Fjord!

BEFORE you look, let me show you what can transpire with some consignment horses. Here at FCF, we work on conditioning, training and getting to know the horses that come on the farm on consignment. Typically they don't stay around long. Many buyers know that, some are more "diamonds" in the rough, or need a little longer to really transform into that gem. Those buyers are wise, and know with a little more work, their gem will appear. Not saying that all consignment horses are diamonds in the rough, but...with the right diet, exercise program and love this is what can transpire.

Super gelding that FCF started him last year in Riding and Driving.

Geir(guy) is a 4 yr old gray dun, with FANTASTIC markings and an OUTSTANDING HEAD. VERY CUTE! He is lighter in frame and is 14.1hh. SUPER trail horse, VERY nice driving horse. Owner was working on taking him in CDE's and the boy could do it too. Would be great for endurance riding, CDE's , hunter/jumper, show or trail.

Half Diamond Luton X Bramber's Caspian

VERY sweet mare! VERY patient and VERY quiet. Definately therapy potential horse, and beginner rider potential. She was started under harness and driven at age 2 and 3. She then was started under saddle age 3 and has been riding on and off since then. She's a VERY safe horse. Luton threw a GREAT mind on his offspring and Tia is definately a Luton Daughter. Tia was evaluated at age 3 and rec'd a 76/Red. All her scores were very good and she would most likely receive a higher score now as she is fully matured. Great walk and trot on her, another contribution from Luton. We are working on her canter. Tia also has been shown in Halter at several horse shows. A very sweet mare! She has been ridden by kids as well. GREAT trail horse.

Tia does have a very nice stud colt born last year, that is by Skyview Henry, who was imported in Utero, and rec'd a Blue in Conformation at the Fjord Evaluation.

YRF Magnum Thorvald X Pines Edge Trude

Thorvald was imported, has fantastic bloodlines, Trude is a daughter of the late Rokida's Haakon. FANTASTIC STALLION. Excellent breeding on the gelding. He is a large gelding standing 14.2hh Coming 4 yr old, that FCF will be starting under saddle.

YRF Sigvald Rokida's Haakon X Flora

Sigvald is a doll of a gelding. Nice bloodlines on this boy, with the Haakon line and on the bottom is Anvil's Hauguall, King Gjestar and Jonetta. NICE. Sigvald is about 14.1hh, coming 4 yrs old , will be started under saddle as well. Both well mannered, well cared for geldings.

Have some 3 yr old geldings and a gray 7 yr old gelding. All of these ride and drive. The 3 yr olds are lightly started in riding and FCF will be putting more time on them.
